Ted Gibson, the man behind the world's most expensive hair cut at $900, has upped his own ante and raised his price to $1200. What?! This decision has been praised in the press for elevating the value of our services, but personally I think it's a little nuts. Trust me - I've stood next to Ted while he's performed one of his "experiences", as he calls them, and though the man can cut and style like the best of them, I see no logic in taking $1200 from someone just because you gave them a haircut and a really good head massage. Sorry Ted, I love you, but personally I think charging that much makes a joke out of our industry and our services. What do you think?

I think that in this day and age we have the right to put a value on ourselves! He is very blessed in his carreer and, truely valued by his clients who can afford him, Thats wonderful! Our cosmetology ibdustry has always been looked down on as an easy way out carreer ! He has branded his name & talent and should be rewarded instead of questioned. Funny how a an article of clothing or a pair of shoes can have such a price but ok to purchase??? We stylist in this world famous or not have the gift of making “You” look Beautiful but feel Beautiful! More power to to him & to all my fellow Hair / Beauty stylist .Keep the passion alive & lets keep this world looking & feeling Like a million bucks!!!
